Iisaku observation tower

Ida-Viru County, Alutaguse National Park
Iisaku hill is the second-highest place in Ida-Viru County after Uljaste esker. In clear weather, you can see the towers of Pühtitsa Convent and Lake Peipus from the 28 m observation tower on top of the hill.

According to the nature conservation rules, motorised vehicle traffic is prohibited outside roads and paths. Campfires can be made only in designated sites.

Driving directionsDrive from Iisaku town along Tartu road over the hillock towards Jõhvi until you see the gravel parking area to your right. Park your car there. Walk on foot for about 150 m along the path into the forest (sign to the landscape reserve).
